    fireworks8 w/ photoshop cs2 issue

    bravo-05
when i open a .psd in fireworks, some of my graphics become extremely 'ugly' even after optimizing them in fireworks, they just dont look as attractive as when in photoshop.

i am new to fireworks so please bare with me. any info on how to obtain the exact same quality for some images would be great. thanks.

Could be a lot of things... but #1 in my experience is FWs is opening your
image at less than 100% Check the bottom right hand corner. Probably nothing
as simple, but this has caught me out before now.

oh well, sorry, just a suggestion. Macromedia and Adobe have only been
              married a few months.

Is it to much to ask to recreate in FWs....?

well the thing is i have like 5-6 years of photoshop experience under my belt. since i just started this week to learn fireworks i thought it would be great if the psd compatibility actually worked like it was supposed to .....thanks though...
