I am setting up a new computer and came across an interesting topic on another site -
I like to run a 2-up computer display with PrP, Project, Effects, Media Browser and drop down menus etc on left and Source, Program, Timeline on right. My broadcast reference monitor is fed by an AJA LHi.
I have an i7-4790K and a GTX 780. Are there any advantages or disadvantages of running the left monitor from the i7 integrated graphics and the right monitor from the GTX? The theory 'might' be that using the integrated graphics frees more resources of the GTX for PrP. I'm wondering if using the integrated sacrifices too many i7 resources...
I will not be overclocking since a quiet and stable system are my highest priorities.

Samsung 850 Pro
GeForce GTX 780 3GB
Well in many cases with graphics problems the forum has recommended totally disabling the Integrated graphics. Just let your nVidia card do everything.
Well, since stability is paramount, that's the direction I'll go.
I remain open to any other opinions.
Thank you sir!
