Since I was put on hold for 45 minutes with no answer, I am trying this route. Since my Fireworks MX 2004 supposedly has "expired" and a "renewal" window pops up, I am asked to renew by filling in my serial number (which I have done), Then another window pops up with a phone number to call. I have called this number numerous times, but the line is always busy. I am also presented with the option of renewing via the Internet, but when I try this, I get a message "Unable to connect to Internet." This is untrue since I have been on the Internet seconds before and after my attempt to connect. What gives?
You do realize this is not the place to contact Adobe support? You are talking to fellow users here.
Unfortunately Adobe's "support" has reached new levels of frustration for users since the inception of the CC Digitial Serfdom. And Adobe has no interest whatsoever in Fireworks support. The best you can do, is keep bombarding support chat for help.
This corner of the Adobe forums is, as far as I am aware, no longer being monitored by Adobe support members. You might have better luck posting your complaint on the CC subsection.
Thanks for your reply, Herbert. I will follow your advice. I am sorry to clutter the forum but my frustration has reached new heights.
...You are not alone in this, if that is any comfort to you. It is a shame Adobe support has fallen to the wayside like this.
