I have a button that is square and set adjacent to a text label. The button is clickable and performs an action upon release. To test my design I gave the file to a co-worker and immediately noticed that they had a tendency to click on the text instead of the button itself, a design oversight on my side was to not include the text label while creating the button hotspot.
Now I am hoping to expand the clickable area around the button but I can't seem to do so without stretching the content of the frame. Is there a way I can do this easily and without redrawing and setting up my actions?
Use a no fill/no stroke frame and put it over the text.
I would if I was beginning the project. As it stands I have about 36 buttons, each with a lot of interconnected and complex actions set on them. Drawing a new frame means writing the action sequence over which I do not want to do if I can avoid it.
Copy the button, delete the contents. Resize.
