I'm hoping someone might be able to help me, this is getting frustrating. I'm working mainly in Edge Animate, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Friday I spent the entire day working on a project in Animate, when the program crashed. It asked me to save my file, and when I opened it back up, the file was totally corrupt, with most of the code missing, and saying there were jquery issues. I've had to redo the project from scratch now, but the program keeps crashing when I do various things, like trying to open files, save files, add images, etc. Now InDesign is crashing when I try to save and open files, and so is Illustrator. I'm not sure if this is a software issue, or an issue with my computer. I'm on my Macbook Pro. I would be grateful for any ideas, I'm in my last week of school and trying desperately to get my final projects finished.
It's pretty difficult to assess from your description, but this sounds like some sort of configuration issue. A couple of things that might help you diagnose where the problem(s) lie would be to create a new user account on your Mac and try that, and to try starting the Mac withthe Shift key held down to prevent startup programs from running.
If the new account helps, most likely there are problems in the Adobe folders of the user library in the original account. If the Shift key startup helps, it's probably a program running in the background.
