Wishlist / Favorite item notification

Hi all. I am needing some help with a client request. I have setup an ecommerce website for a client. This client would like to be able to see, or at least be notified via email, when a customer adds and removes items from their wishlist. They want to be able to use this data in order to market and offer specific deals on items a client has added to their wishlist. Is this a built in feature to BC that I am missing? If it isnt built in, anyone have any ideas on how to get this accomplished? Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

Not something BC can do out of the box. The process to do so is quite involved, you have to override the feature that does the favourite with javascript and build your own callback, that callback then also fire off a notification email with the user information and product information in a way that suits the client so they are notified.

That is one of the more simpler option.
