I've made a mistake. While creating new Paragraph Styles I didn't notice that InDesign automatically adds a 'Based On' parameter upon it's own logic, although I specifically clicked on 'Create New Style' icon.
Now I can't change (fine tune) parameters of one Style, because it affects the others. Is there any way I can 'unlink' all the relationships among all the Paragraph Styles, while having them keep their current characteristics, without caring if they are inherited or original.
Yes - you should be able to change the "Based On" value to [No Paragraph Style] and it will keep your settings.
Oh, I tried 'Reset to Base' or to base it on 'Basic Paragraph' but it wouldn't do it.
Your suggestion was the option I didn't try. I though it would 'unapply' all the styles but it didn't. It did exactly what I needed. Thanx.
