This isn't something I successfully provoked to happen, but so far it happened 2 times: when moving any object in a layout, it starts shaking like crazy, like if it wanted to show me where it was and where I want to place it... 5 times a second! This is VERY annoying, just imagine the object moving left and right as you move it with your mouse and as long as you hold your finger down... It gets tough to predict where the object will land (it skakes about 10 pixels around, depending from which direction the object gets moved from). After relaunching the application, the shake's gone.
It's like Parkinson for geeks... Anybody has ever experienced this?
This is usually because of a problem with your pointing device (mouse or tablet).
Make sure your mouse/tablet driver is updated.
I doubt it, since when I relaunch InDesign it stops.
It just started to do it again. What it does exactly is it flashes between where the object was and where I want to place it. I don't see how my mouse would interfere here. And, of course, should I mention I work on MAC OSX Yosemite 10.10.3 and InDesign CC 2014 10.2.0.69. My mouse is an Apple Mouse, the oval shaped one with a little gray rolling ball to scroll with.
I'd suggest doing the usual initial troubleshooting steps:
(1) Restore you InDesign preferences:
(2) If it's just one file, try saving as IDML.
