    Get Cell Visible Bounds

    Senthilvel S

      Hi All,

In Indesign javascript we get textframe visible bounds using "myDoc.textFrames[0].visibleBounds". Is there any way to get table cell visibleBounds?

      Thanks & Regards,

@Senthilvel – there is no direct way.

          I wish it were.

You have to do some calculations on the upper left cell of your table using the first insertion point and calculate from there.

Insets may be important, the stroke weights of the cell, cell rotation settings, direction of character, direction of table, rotation of the text frame holding the table, first line inset and other formatting of the insertion point…
