How do you preserve skin tones when reducing noise in raw?

I do a lot of concert photography and consequently shoot with an ISO of 3200 with my Canon 5d Mk3. This produces a fair amount of noise which I can easily get rid of in ACR but I find it makes skin look a bit blotchy and unnatural. Is there a way of avoiding this?
