Ok this is a first for me. I imported around 350 images from a morning of soccer matches yesterday and did my usual routine upon import. I rename them, copy as DNG files from CR2 and save them to a working archive file on an internal HD. About 20 images randomly placed within the batch are all tilted or skewed. The tilt is the same in each image. Any thoughts?
In the end it isn't that important because I will crop in closer on any I used but I have never had this happen before. And just to be sure, I opened the folder of images in Bridge and they are also tilted there as well.
Probably you have an "Upright" correction turned on, by default. In a preset, or in saved processing defaults.
If you also check "Constrain Crop", then LR will keep the image automatically cropped down to eliminate any white corners.
Since this is all still non-destructive, nothing of the picture would have actually been lost.
Thank, not sure how I did it but you are correct. It was set to auto correct.
