FW 8 vs FW MX 2004 vs FW MX

    Level 7
I would appreciate an analysis from those of you who have climbed the
upgrade path (vs buying in at the top) about the substantive differences
between the three versions in the subject line. I own FW MX and have
not used it much in the past but now am learning and using it a lot. As
I read tutorials and examine books, I am not sure that it is worth the
upgrade price to jump all the way to 8 and maybe not even to 2004. Some
reviews also report that MX 2004 is slower (much slower) than MX. I
have seen no comments about speed of 8.

Can someone respond about the differences.

      Thanks,
      Ken

          I wouldn't even bother with MX 2004.

You should download the trial of 8 and try it yourself. If you don't
discover any amaizing things, then don't upgrade.
