Never, as InDesign is supposed to layout, not to draw. That why Illustrator and Photoshop are made for. InDesign is not a drawing application.
For charts see a font called Chartwell https://www.fontfont.com/how-to-use-ff-chartwell
For perspective - eh depends on what you're trying to do - Type On Path>Gravity can give a perspective effect.
Willi is correct, that Illustrator and Photoshop are much more powerful drawing tools than InDesign ever will be.
