Which program version and which operating system?
If Mac, did you use Migrate or Time Machine?
If yes, read below
Mac Migration and Time Machine DO NOT WORK with Adobe program activations due to hidden files... you need to uninstall your faulty installation and start fresh with a new, complete install
windows 7. I also re installed and still don't work
its premier elements 13
Determine if any of the following Premiere Elements licensing troubleshooting works for you
Please let us know the outcome as your schedule permits.
well after my fourth re install its working now, for the moment anyway....
Thanks for your help everyone
now it crashes as soon as I try to add a video to edit. what a piece of crap product!
Thanks for the updates. Sorry that the news took a turn for the bad.
Does the current crash end with that 213:10 message, or are these current crashes ending with another message associated to video import? If a new message, what is the exact wording of the message? Is the crash at the first video dragged to the Timeline or into a project that already has a fair amount of imports already?
If you want to continue, we could troubleshoot using the following information
a. What are the properties of these source media that you are trying to import into Premiere Elements 13 on Windows 7 64 bit? The brand/model/settings of the camera that recorded this video would be a start.
b. Does the problem exist with and without antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?
c. Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on the computer with Premiere Elements 13, and are you running the programs as administrator.
d. Have you updated 13 to 13.1 using an opened project's Help Menu/Updates?
e. Is you video card/graphics card driver version up to date according to the web site of the manufacturer of the card?
f. What is a description of your computer resources?
Please review and consider and then we can decide what next based on the details of your reply.
