it might not be the application, but the processing power of the iPad. What was the file size of the DSLR movie? I'd expect that the iPad might not be able to handle the video.
have you tried to upload the movies and XML to creative cloud? I wonder if the edit gets slowed down in premiere pro, or if it plays back fine (with a good video card)
Even the final export has slowed down. It also seems to be happening on my phone. The camera is only shooting in 720p
That sounds like some kind of bug. I've never seen it, but it would probably help if you put down all the specs for the camera, codec, import method, frame rate, plus your iPad spec.
oddly, I'd love to have speed ramp in premiereclip, but it's not an option.
What does the footage look like when you play it back on anything else?
on the camera?
on a computer?
if adobe contacts you offline, id like to know what the solution is too
