We have just restarted using Indesign and we find that on every (have tried 3 so far) HP laptops that we have installed creative cloud and Indesign, we get the blue screen of death when we try and open a file. If we use an Acer, this does not happen. This is very very inconvenient. Can anyone help?
BSOD is usually a hardware or driver problem. Is the message up long enough to read?
I'd start by trying to update the video drivers.
I agree with Peter. An application is not going to cause this.
It might however be calling on a driver or RAM that is defective. Since it’s on several machines I would certainly start by checking the drivers. And yes, the message may be helpful.
