    transparent background

    Dominic Irving

Hi everyone, I mentioned a few weeks ago that I was trying to create a complete transparent background with someone talking and wanting to put this footage onto a website.

How to create a video with a transparent background - YouTube

I found this video and it is exactly what I am after. However this example is using Final cut pro and motion instead of premiere pro, after effects and flash professional. Could someone "translate" what is being done in this video but as if it is the adobe creative suite being used.

There were some people who were kind enough to provide some advice but didn't seem to do the trick.

Again appreciate any help on this.

      Many thanks

If you want a transparent background in video on the website you have to use Flash to get it on the website because media players do not support transparency.

You need to use a version of After Effects or Premiere Pro (the Adobe media encoder) that will allow you to export Flash video with transparency. The end result will not be mobile compatible.
