On Windows go to:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom
Inside the Adobe Lightroom folder scroll down to the files beginning with the letter L and right –click on lightroom (the application) and choose :
Send to >> Desktop
Thank you, but that just gives me a link back to the file directory.
I guess if services are running in Task Manager they are essential to the application.
They are not with Lr 5.7. I'll have to check later and disconnect from internet and see what happens. Just wishing everything was same as previously. I'm a creature of habit.
I was really hoping someone could point me in the right direction on these matters. I just want to use it in the same manner as 5.7 in regards to no network activity by adobe and offline. If it weren't for my new D7200 i wouldn't even worry about it and just use 5.7.
Right click on the exe file- C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom\Lightroom.exe
Choose [Create a shortcut]
Move the shortcut [lightroom.exe - Shortcut] by dragging it onto your desktop.
In WIndows 8.1 you can "Pin to Taskbar" or "Pin to Start Page"
