    “Tagged annotations – Failed”

    taryno25703745

In the accessibility report, I get a “Failed” messaged on
the “Tagged annotations” accessibility check. All of the elements that seem to
be failing are links in the table of contents.

When find the link in the contents panel, they are shown as “links”
under an “Annotations” tab. I can also find the text of these links tagged as paragraph
text in the tags panel. I turned on “Touch Up Reading Order,” highlighted the
text, and created a new tab, but I still get the failed response. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thank you in advance for your help.

          Hi Taryno,

In the Tags pane, your table of contents should look something like this ('-' characters are just for indenting) ...

          <TOC>

          ---<TOCI>

          ------<Reference>

          ----------<Link>

          ------------Link - OBJR

          ------------Chapter 1 Page 1

          -------<TOC>

          ----------<TOCI>

          --------------<Reference>

          ------------------<Link>

          ---------------------Link - OBJR

          ---------------------Section 1 Page 1

          ---------------<Reference>

          ------------------<Link>

          ---------------------Link - OBJR

          ---------------------Section 2 Page 3

          ---<TOCI>

          ------<Reference>

          ----------<Link>

          ------------Link - OBJR

          ------------Chapter 2 Page 5

Hope this helps. If not please post.
