    plane trajectoires files into After Effects

      Hello,

       

      I have these airplane trajectoires (real ones) files I want to load into After and animate them.

      The files I have are mkz files. But they have no Collada files inside. Only a doc.kml

       

      I can transform them into pdf files. That is ok, but then I ll have to fake altitude and place them exactly on top of the real map so it fits OK.

      It is a manual work.

       

      I do have a GeoJSON file. There is my question. Can I import these GeoJSOn files into After and see them as paths ?

          You can write all sorts of parsing code with scripts or even expressions. would require some examples to advise specifically.

            I read the tutorial from Lloyd Alvarez. I use as he suggested the json2.js file to parse my json file and I obtain what I called a trajectoire.jsx file.

             

            But I don’t really what to do next. When I run the script in After Effects nothing happens. I don’t know if what I am doing makes any sense.

            So it is possible to obtain a path like file to use as a trajectory in After Effects ?
