Try turning off GPU acceleration in your Lightroom preferences and see if that makes a difference.
Seems like that might be the issue.
I've been using it for about 3 hours this evening without any crashes.
Is it a known problem or was it an educated guess ?
Thanks for your help anyway Jim.
GPU acceleration is causing problems on certain computers with certain graphics cards. I don't have a list of acceptable graphics cards. I suspect this feed choose something that will be fine tuned and improved as time moves forward.
I am having the same issue, I have turned the GPU setting off but I still get crashes without fail when importing raws to dng and also when exporting out of LR. Also I have had crashes when editing just with single pictures not in batches.
My LR is up to date, PC spec is more than enough to run LR comformtably, GPU drivers up to date. Nothing I seem to do works. Is anyone having a similar issue please?
YES, and it is driving me crazy. Happens with gpu off or on and LR is up to date. PC specs are good and Photoshop operates without a hitch. Sometimes it will crash switching from library to develop modules. This problem has started happening within the last two weeks. I have been using LR cc without a problem since it's inception.
I am having the exact same problem. But even when i try to turn off GPU it crashes so can't turn off GPU. Chicken and egg scenario
I just updated LR to CC yesterday, and I have the exact same problem. Can't believe that you guys are mentioning it since a while and there isn't any solution yet?
I tried to deactivate GPU: impossible to do so as LR crashes when I enter the preferences menu.
Otherwise, it keeps on crashing when I switch to Develop module...
I can't work anymore!!
