    Processing time seems slow

I have some video clips I saved from my wife's iPhone.  They are .mov files.  They are okay quality but I have two problems  I have to resolve before I can use them.  Before I can use them I have to flip the clips 270 degrees to get a 1920 X 1080 width and height I am using in my composition.  Then I have to stabilize them (30 minutes for a 2:30 clip ) to remove the shaky handling during the recording operation.  Then I export /process the files and make a new .mov file that I can use to make a video I am working on in Premier Pro.

I realize the two steps I am making are probably complex for Adobe After Effects, but my complaint or question is that when I export them into a new .mov file it is taking 1 hr and 30 minutes to process the file.  So I end up spending 2 hours processing a 2:30 minute raw clip before I can use them in a video.  Is my computer that slow or is the complexity of the operations the reason for the time consuming process?

Thanks in advance for the help.
