    Looking for help using CSV files with InDesign for Data Merges ...

      Please forgive me if this question has been addressed in this forum already. If it has, please point me to that discussion.


      What I am trying to do is an InDesign Data Merge with a comma-delimited (CSV) file. I created the CSV file using the "SaveAs CSV" command with Office 2013 Excel. The problem I have is with records that contain multiple lines within the same field. After reviewing the merged InDesign document, I noticed the results are inaccurate for the remainder of that record. When it gets to the next record some fields are populated with the remaining records from the previous record.


      I'm sorry if I'm not explaining this very well but the results are strange and I'm hoping others are experiencing similar results and can offer a solution.
