    Cannot install Creative Cloud due to error code 205


      I cannot install Creative Cloud due to error code 205.


      The problem started with the Creative Cloud application showing blank white in the client area - no errors. So, I uninstalled Creative Cloud. But, whenever I try to install it, I get the following message window:

      We've encountered the following issues:

      there seems to be a problem with the downloaded file(s). For troubleshooting tips, please visit our customer support page.

      (error code: 205)


      I've downloaded the installer multiple times, from multiple computers, using multiple browsers. I've tried disabling anti-virus software and firewall.


      The problem now appears to be the installer I am downloading.


      Is there another source for this file besides the one below?



      I am using Windows 7 64-bit.
