In LR6, this feature was removed from the right-click menu.
Now you have to get there using the "quick develop" panel on the right side of the Library module.
Thanks Maniac. That's not exactly the answer that I wanted. Why are they making it difficult for me? What, I have to leave Develop to apply a Develop preset to a batch of photos? This insanity has been contained to Redmond but I see it has spread to San Jose now. Trashes any reason for me to upgrade.
In Develop module, Multiple select the images in the filmstrip-
Click the switch to turn-ON Auto Sync.
Everything you do in develop is applied to ALL selected images, Presets, Tool adjustments, etc.!
Instead of the 'Pop-up" just use presets from the left side Presets panel as with any develop editing.
Is this what you need?
Yes Wobert! How did you find that? I searched through the user guide and these forums.
This is an improvement over the pop-up. Only the changes that are made after Auto Sync is turned on, are made to all selected photos. I went to Lightroom 4 and checked it. It works the same way! I suppose the right click and pop-up is a more logical process.
The key is to not press the Sync button. If the Sync button is pressed, the previous adjustments are copied from the high-lighted photo to the low-lighted photos.
Thanks again Wobert, I'll see my friend on Thursday and tell him how to do this.
Glad to be of help-
One warning with Auto-Sync- Remember to TURN IT OFF when it is no longer needed.
If forgotten then un-wanted edits could be applied to MANY files without knowing. "Why are all my images turning monochrome???"
