I solved the problem with the help of the support. Apparently it was a permissions problem on the Adobe folder.
You can try the following:
- create a new account on your mac
- log in in the new account
- start Lightroom
If Lightroom starts, then you likely have a permission problem. You can try to contact support or chmod 777 your ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe folder.
Michele--I haven't received an answer yet. Three weeks into my trial and I've been in ZERO times. This is supremely frustrating.
