I have a license to Lightroom 4 that I purchased. I am not on creative cloud and that seems to be the only people that are getting any customer service (sorry for the rant).
I have loaded Lightroom on my new computer and it won't load. It launches the start up screen but won't go any further. I have tried reloading it, but that won't do anything... still keeps freezing on the load screen.
I entered my license code and it was accepted.
ANY help is greatly appreciated, as I can't get any work done until this is resolved.
How are you installing the software e.g. from disk or download? Is it LR4 you are putting on the new computer? If so try downloading the last update 4.4.1 from one of these links:
Ended up figuring it out. For some reason, there was a sharing issue that was preventing it from loading. Had to go into the library- application support - adobe : and then change the permissions to allow read and write.
I have no idea why this was unchecked on a new computer, but it fixed the issue I was having with both Lightroom and Bridge.
