Nik Collection programs can be added to Lightroom as "External Editors"
Open Preferences [CTRL+, ]
Select the "External Editing" tab.
Click on the [Choose] button in the Additional External Editor sub-panel.
Find the programs in the Explorer/Finder dialog
(In Windows: C:\Program Files\Google\Nik Collection\... )
Note: there may be 32bit and 64bit versions, choose 64bit.
Set the parameters for the File Format, etc.
Finally click the Preset drop-down menu to "Save current setting as a Preset"
Repeat the process for each Nik program, SIlver Efex, Color Efex, Sharpener Pro,...etc
Image Right-click > Edit in >
Maybe you had LR running when you installed Nik ?
Been trying to figure it out for hours now.
Thank you very much!
Muy bien explicado, pude instalarlos nuevamente. Gracias!
But where on earth do I find the "external editing" tab??? It should not be this hard!
1. The NIK Collection should install fully if you simply 'run' the program (Windows: nikcollection-full-1.2.11.exe )
2. The 'Manual' method of installing the individual Nik programs can be found here- Plug-ins do not appear in Lightroom after installing - Nik Collection Help
The "External Editing Tab" -is at the top of the Preferences dialog-
