    Transfering Keywordds Form to Form

I want to have a non-functional form that looks like a text box and search button, but really it only serves as a link to a separate html page with a functioning search form. Is there any way to have the non-functioning form take any words typed in by the user and automatically place them in the functioning form? Kind of like the way Google will take a web search keyword and place it for you in the text box when you go to an image search.

Yes, of course. What server scripting models are you using or are supported
          by your host?
