I am not the most tech savy of people. I have a laptop and a larger external monitor that I use for InDesign, Photoshop etc. For some reason when I move ID over to the second screen after start up (unlike photoshop I can't seem to get it to start up on the secondary screen) when I click on my toolbar the smaller options on some of the tools shows up to the right of the toolbar and therefore on my laptop screen instead of to the left of the toolbar on the screen that I am using for ID. Also when I open tool windows they pop up on the laptop screen and I have to move them over individually. Is there someplace in the setup/options/configurations/magicpixydust that I can correct this. For reference I'm using InDesignCC on a Win7 system.
I haven't seen any dual display-specific features or settings in InDesign. I don't think InDesign even "knows" how many displays are in use. Typically these are display-adapter/OS matters, in that there is a primary display and any others are secondary; and the OS deploys the UI display of apps accordingly.
