I currently have an Asus PB278Q thats acting funny. I was considering sending it back for a different model but from what I've read this one may be my best bet for an all around editing bay for under $500.
Is it worth going up to a 4k monitor? Is there something I'm missing that may be a better fit for me?
I do not currently shoot or edit 4k video, I dont see a need for it yet.
I've been shopping around (online) recently myself. I need something with better resolution than what I have now - especially for my photography work. This seems to be a good one:
Mind you, I haven't had a chance to see it in person yet.
I knid of feel like a 2560x1440 is a better resolution for editing 1080 cause you can have the preview almost at 100% and still see the timeline. Then I thought I would out put to a tv for a preview of the edit.
