    Could this be a bug in flex?

      This is my code

      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
      <mx:Application xmlns:mx=" http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml" layout="absolute" >
      <mx:Button label = "eh?" click = "test();" x="224" y="216" />
      <mx:Script >
      public function test():void

      mx.controls.Alert.show("Hello world");

      Its simple and to the point, but here is the catch... for some reason when I try placing any othe code between the <script> tag like a variable decleration, a import anything! and change the message in the mx.controls.Alert.show(...) and save it and run it in the browser it will not update for some reason. Meaning if I changed "hello world" to "hello frank" it would still display "hello world" even after I have change the code. It does not say I have any errors, and all my other flex apps work fine except this one for some reason... It is all very odd, could some one test the code I have supplied under the conditions I have explained, then tell me if it works fine for them... It could just be my browser or possibly I need to re-install Flex.

      Btw the broswer I am using is "Avant Browser" and the version of Flex builder I am using is 2.0.
