I've done that and things worked well for a while........ then the program kicked over to the 28-75 lens (which I do not own).
On the dropdown menu with the list of lens manufacturers, when I click on "Tamron" this ghost lens comes up ......... not the 2 lenses I use. I don't know !!!
Thanks for your reply. Have a great day !!!
When it stops detecting your lens, make sure you have the Lens Corrections (Profile) Setup (next to the Enable Profile Corrections checkbox) set to Default instead of Auto. Auto is the default LR ships with but Default is necessary as the default if you have set any customized profile defaults as illustrated by Ian Lyons' post, above.
You will want to set your LR defaults for your camera to have Setup as Default instead of Setup as Auto. To do this you start with a newly imported photo, change the Lens Corrections (Profile) Setup to Default, press the Alt key and click Set Defaults... (which the Rest button changes to) and choose to update the LR defaults to the current settings. Make sure you're using a newly imported photo and that is has all the current LR defaults at it's settings except the Lens Corrections Setup value, otherwise you'll be changing the defaults for other LR settings as well.
Keep in mind that any previously imported photos may still have Default instead of Auto for the Lens Corrections Setup value and you may have to manually change from Auto to Default on those.
