They usually get added automatically if you upgraded your previous catalog. Maybe you started a new catalog?
But you should be able to copy the .lrtemplate files and put them in the presets folder.
In LR Go to:
Edit >> Preferences >> Presets (tab)
Lightroom >> Preferences >> Presets (tab) on Mac OSX
Click on the button “Show Lightroom Presets Folder” and you will be taken to the folder in Explorer or Finder.
i have been to what Lr suggests is my Presets folder, but unfortunately that is NOT where they are
they are in a folder at ~/Pics/Lightroom/Lightroom Settings/Develop Presets/User Presets
and i cannot see how to make the Preference page "see" this folder, or to import it into wherever it is meant to go
it is quite possible that i clicked on the wrong Catalogue answer, but that should be entirely sortable now, but i cannot work out how to do it apart from copy the .lrtemplate files, but with no definite idea as to where to paste them
Try File >> Open Recent
Choose your previous LR5 catalog (or other version)
Most likely you have 'Store Presets with Catalog' checked in Preferences > Presets so the presets are with the old catalog as a guess. Try unchecking this.
how do i get a refund for buying this rubbish???????????????????????????
Perhaps this has been answered elsewhere, but my LR6 user presets were located here:
C:\Users\<name>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Develop Presets\User Presets
I simply copied them to this folder from a backup, restarted LR6 and they showed up just fine.
