    Catalog Back Up error since Updating to Lightroom CC

      Hi there folks,

       

      I have been a Lightroom user since its inception and have had every version since day one. Love it. But since updating to Lightroom 5 to CC as part of my Creative Cloud subscription I constantly get the error message that Lightroom cannot back up my catalog. It advises me to check my disk permissions and available space on the drive where the back up is located. Well I have done that and there are no issues with my permissions, also if I change the location to a different drive be it the internal SSD or an external HD I get the same message , it offers me the option to try again, quit, or choose another location. None of these options actually work though. So I end up having to force quit and try again. The program also crashes part way through any "import" process. I am stumped by all this.

       

      Any help out there?
