A few questions to help isolate the problem: (1) When you log into Adobe.com, when you're logged into your Adobe ID, on the left side of the screen are listed assets. Click on Librarires. See the new library you created shows there. (2) Are you using InDesign CC 2014.2? Choose About InDesign (InDesign CC menu on Mac, Help menu on Windows), what build are you running? (3) What about in Illustrator: Do you see there?
