What version of Premiere Elements and on what computer operating system?

All that 4 GB material is not coming from Instant Movie themes.

If version 11, 12, or 13, did you go through Content download by right clicking a blue band on an Instant Movie thumbnail and selecting Download All or Download Now?

Please supply more information and then we will decide what next.

          Thank you.

I have Version 13 installed. While selecting an instant movie theme i was asked to download only selected or download all themes. I decided to download all, cause I think if I wanna use it without or poor internet connection to have it all on my computer.

But now I realized, that the result of this automatic movies are not very well in my opinion, also my hardest is nearly full, so I want remove the downloaded material to free space!

            Thank you

Delete the whole Movie Theme Folder which now contains the Download Now completed files.

              The path to it is

              Local Disk C

              Program Data

              Adobe

              Premiere Elements

              Online

              Movie Themes

The Movie Themes Folder is one that will regenerate automatically. But, it should regenerate without the Content Download that brought the Folder size from 118 MB to 2.7 GB.

Please let us know if that worked for you.

Were you able to find the Online Folder with its Movie Themes Folder saved to your computer?

The same principle should work for Mac as well as Windows, but I do not have a Mac computer to road test.

If you cannot find the folders, I will search around the forum threads to find a Mac user who has posted those folder location details.

thanks for your hints, I found folder „Movie Themes" in "/Applications/Adobe Premiere Elements 13/Support Files/Adobe Premiere Elements.app/" but there only is a folder named „Slideshow" in it.

My next problem is, the program always crashes at the end of the rendering process of the forecast.

Nearly to give it up. Now I wait for the answer from technical support for the crash-report.

                    regards

                        Thank you for help again!

I only found a few files in this subfolder „Slideshow“. Now I deinstalled the whole program an delete everything of premiere. Then I’ll reinstall the program as I need it.

My harddisc free space is about 4 GB, I think its poor for this work, so I decided to switch cache and all other work-directories to the external USB disc. There I have enough free space.

                        Hope then I’ll succeed.

                        regards Walter

In Premiere Elements 11, 12/12.1, and 13/13.1 on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit, the path to the Movie Menu theme SlideShow/Pan and Zoom that comes with the program installation is Local Disk C\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements 11, 12, or 13\DVD Templates\Common.

Thanks for the update. Glad that the uninstall/reinstall got you back to the pre-Content Download status.

Did you mean 4 GB free hard drive space - or did you mean 4 GB RAM installed? If really 4 GB free hard drive space, that is just about enough to get the program installed. You will be in serious trouble when you try to create your projects. If you have a USB external hard drive in use, double check that it has the correct format when used with your Mac computer. Please determine if the following helps to select the appropriate formatting for the USB external hard drive.

Yes, 4GB free hard drive space But after installing everything! That was the reason why I wanted to delete all I don't need.

My external USB drive has the correct Mac format.

                            Thank you

                            Regards
