How can I print a regular letter size portion of a large document?

I want to print a sample of a document I'm working on so my client gets a feel for the text size and images.  The middle panel is 2 feet x 3 feet.  I just want to print a sample or two on regular letter size, but to scale.  My only thought is starting a new document, but there must be an easier way!

      Thanks,

You can do that by manually printing a tile of the portion of the larger document.

Set the zero point of your rulers at the upper left corner of the area you want printed (drag from where the rulers intersect). Then choose File > Print > Setup. Choose the Page Size for your printer and the Orientation. Select Tile, then choose Manual. When you print, a tile the size of your page will printed for the area down and to the right of the tile origin.
