    Addind text in a new line within a  text box

    Atul_Saxena
      Hi everyone,
      I have a classic text box component that i am using inside director. I want to show some text inside this text box in such a way that it should come in. For example I am adding "Item 1" , "item 2", " item 3" then every item should be placed in new line.

      I tried using new line symbol ( \ ) it but it didn't worked.
      set member("textbox").text = "Item 1 " & \ & " item 2" & "Item 3" ---------> this gave me error

      Please suggest how to do this thing.

      Thanks

          Hi Atul,

          Try using 'RETURN'

          set member("textbox").text = "Item 1 " & RETURN & " item 2" & RETURN &
          "Item 3" --------->

          Tim
