Try the following.
Click on the following Adobe link. Go to the bottom of the page where it says, "Still having problems?". Click on the link for Internet Explorer.
If you cannot download ANYTHING you have a few options.
1. Try to find a solution on the Microsoft Fix it website: Microsoft Fix it Solution Center: troubleshooting software issues
2, If that does not work, then try to do a Windows System Restore to a previous date.
Click on START, then Control Panel, Then (with View set to Large Icons not Category) click on Backup and Restore Icon.
At the bottom click on "Recover System settings on your computer". On the next screen click on Open System Restore.
Then you will be requested to select from a list of dates to which you can restore Windows.
Again thank you..I can't download so "fix it" won't work. What I have done
that will eventually work is...drum roll...sfc/scannow. There are files
that could not be repaired so they are in a CBS on my desktop. I'll do a
disk repair when I go over the files and find the problems.
