At an earlier point I created the domain mail.MyDomain.com. This was an error and I have since deleted mail.MyDomain.com as well as MyDomain.com. There are now no references to either domain under Site Settings > Site Domains > Domains, yet I receive the following error message when trying to add back the MyDomain.com domain.
Error You can’t add this domain because “mail.MyDomain.com” exists in the site. Remove that domain, then add this one, then add “mail.MyDomain.com” as a subdomain.
I cannot find any references to mail.MyDomain.com anywhere in the Business Catalyst Admin Portal, except in the dropdown boxes for More Actions > Add a New Hostname (A) Record, Add an Alias (CNAME) Record, Add a Mail (MX) Record, and Add an Advanced DNS Record.
Any help would be appreciated.
Contact support, they can clear the system in this regard to allow you to enter it.
