The lens is "Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR" and I know the profile correction is out for Lightroom 5.3. Is there anyway to install this in Lightroom 4 and if so, where can I find the lens correction profile?
I downloaded the Adobe lens profile downloader that the community updates but it is not in that either. My camera is a D7100 if that information is required.
Thanks in advance,
If you know somebody with LR later than 5.3 you can try to copy over the profile. These are single files for every lens.
However, my suggestion would by to upgrade to LR6 - it's only about 80 bucks.
The latest DNG Converter (which is free) or any version 5.3 or newer would have the profile if LR 5.3 does, so you can install DNGC 9 and copy the profile from the DNGC installed location to the third-party lens and camera profile location under Users as described here: http://www.lightroomqueen.com/articles-page/lightroom-5-default-locations/
The DNG Converter is always available on the Adobe Updates page: http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/
Otherwise, if you have a new enough OS and are trying to decide if LR 6 or LR CC might be a good choice, keep in mind that LR CC will get functional updates while LR 6 users will have to wait for LR 7 presumably:
