I am getting an error when trying to use Element 3d and I would like to track down the issue.
Unfortunately I don't know where the log file is though, could someone help?
I was able to find this in the Windows Event Viewer :
Faulting application name: AfterFX.exe, version: 188.8.131.52, time stamp: 0x53e06bec
Faulting module name: unknown, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x000000001325fbbf
Faulting process id: 0x1638
Faulting application start time: 0x01d09918df26fe26
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CC 2014\Support Files\AfterFX.exe
Faulting module path: unknown

There's nothing to track down. As per your event log, the fault module is unknown, which means - erm - unknown. You can only do the usual steps of updating your graphics card driver (assuming your hardware is even sufficient) and downloading the latest version of Element 3D. There was a specific mini-update for CC 2014.
