    Poster Frame for Flash Video

    tenorocity Community Member
I'd like to have a poster frame of my video to appear within the flash player skin, which then will disappear when the viewer pushes the play button on the skin and the video begins.

I know I can link from an image to a swf file, but that opens up another window which I do not want. I'd like it all embedded within the flash player skin.

      Any suggestions?

      Thanks.

      david

Having an image at the front of your movie?

OK, put a still image at the front of the movie, then. :O)

Import your image to flash, make it a button, fade it in/out or just begin
playing your movie when it's clicked.

Doesn't that sound like it would work or am I missing something?

              HTH,

              Jon

I'm not really sure how you're referring to "the flash player skin" - do you
                have an example url?
