Have new Mac (2015). Migrated CS4 products. They won't work even after reinstalling from download from Adobe. Get error messages.

Open issue cannot resolve: #

Errors include with photoshop: Some of components missing. Reinstall. (Which I have 3 times without resolution.)

AI: Fatal error missing component. and Plugins error.

Dreamweaver: Could not locate resources file... reinstalll. (Been there done that - not fixed.)

Finally got Adobe Pro to work after 2nd re-installation.

You should probably uninstall and use the Cleaner Tool before trying to reinstall - it might help.  Migration does not work for Adobe products so in doing so it might have left a bit of a mess behind.

CS4 is officially not compatible with Yosemite. You can try enabling the root user and tweak user permissions and all that, but you may have to live with the fact that it will never work, at least not 100%.
