Adobe Reader DC Both Tracks no Current User to all users

Hi,

i have a Problem with the new Versions of Adobe Reader DC, both Versions can be modified by Acrobat Customization Wizard DC.

I made an MST for both installations with user Settings in the Registry part.

In the older XI version Current User Settings worked for all users which login to the device.

With the new versions DC this Settings only applies to the installing user.

Since nearly 90% of our users have no admin rights this doesn't work for me. (3500 installations)

Maybe i did something wrong, or the cool feature doesn't work anymore.

Any idea?

Hi, Darren,

HKCU settings have always been per user, so your statement about XI is incorrect.

The examples show you using the Classic track and the Continuous track for Reader. They both look right and they both work the same way.

hth,

Ben

Hi Ben,

thx for your reply, i am sure that this worked with XI:

I didn't use any further REG keys or Active Directory optimizations, you can test it with a vmware.

Anyway the best way to deploy my reg keys seems to be a user setting bundle with HKCU in the deployment tool!?

Since if i would use HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT it wouldn't work as an update bundle!?
