you can easily send to a printer (though to format it pixel perfect is tougher) using the printjob class.

oops, i missed the part that you were looking for a html5 solution. printjob is an actionscript, not createjs class.
your window.print() should work. you probably just need to delay printing until the page finishes being rendered/drawn to the window being printed.
My understanding is that window.print(); will only print the text on the page (which is what I have been experiencing using a button that triggers the window.print() ), but shapes that are rendered via .css will not print.
I will try delaying the printing and see if that makes a difference. Thanks for the thought!

use window.onload function to trigger your window.print()
I only want to print "on demand" so I need to use a button. However, I'll make sure everything is loaded before providing the button functionality. Thanks!
