In flash pro, I am clicking the shortcut CTRL+ENTER to play/preview my animation. But, as soon as I use the shortcut, it brings me to the output box and says this:
Frame numbers in EaselJS start at 0 instead of 1. For example, this affects gotoAndStop and gotoAndPlay calls.
I don't know what this means, and the animation doesn't play. I didn't do any coding or scripting, just animation. I can click the play button in the workspace to see it, but I cannot watch the preview. Please help!
At the splash screen when you first start Flash, there is a list of file format options. It sounds like you chose HTML5. You probably want to use the ActionScript 3 option.
Ahh, that seems to fix the problem. Is there any way to convert my html5 to an actionscript? Or do I just have to do a lot of copy and pasting? :/ oh and thanks for the help btw. @Rob Dillon
I don't know of a settings change that you can use change your existing file. You should be able to select everything in the timeline and then right click and select Copy Frames, then start an new Actionscript 3 file and paste the frames into the empty timeline. Any assets that you have in the Library will be moved to the new file's Library.
