    Adobe Creative Cloud email PROBLEM!

    ImagineAlec

      Hey Guys,

So I have bought the student collcetion yesterday.

Before I bought it I have tested several products. To test it I had to sing in and create an Adobe ID.

The problem here is, I just made up an email which doesn't even exist..

So I bought the collcetion yesterday and downloaded Adobe Creative Cloud again but everytime I want to install something the Creative Cloud pops up and says that I have to verify the email i made up and which doesn't even exist.. Is there a way I can login with my current email with which i bought the collection?

      Thanks for your help.!

      Best regards,

      Alec

Are you using Windows computer  or Mac?

Just to confirm again , may I ask whether the email ID using which you had purchased subscription is Valid .

And the currently logged in user Adobe ID 's email does not exist ?

            I am using Windows.

The ID I'm using is my current ID and it does exist.

The email and ID i created for the tests does not exist because I just made something up.

Now when i want to install something creative cloud opens and says that i have to confirm the 'email' that doesnt exist.

Quit Creative Cloud desktop application .

End all Adobe related processes from Task Manager like Creative Cloud , CoreSync. Armsvc.....etc

Press Windows button (located between Ctrl and Alt buttons) along with R button together at a time , you will get a run command window.

Type in below command and hit 'Enter' key.

              appdata

It will open folder named Appdata

Then navigate to Local>Adobe>OOBE. Open OOBE folder and delete opm.db file.

Once you had deleted Opm.db file , launch Creative Cloud desktop application and check.

It is the Apps tab Download Error  with Reload Applications option. .

                      Follow below steps :

Quit Creative Cloud desktop application .

                      Step 1 :

                      Disable Anti-Virus and Firewall temporarily.

If you had installed Security suites like Mcafee , Avg , Norton ....etc make sure to disable their smart firewall.

                      Step 2 :

1)Open Control Panel and then click on the option "Network and Internet" .

2)Click on Internet options, click on 'Connections' tab.

3)In the 'Connections' tab, select 'LAN' settings, you will be able to view the Local area network settings box.

4)Check the box-"Automatically Detect Settings" and then "uncheck" all the other check boxes like 'Use automatic configuration script', 'Use a proxy server' , Bypass proxy server' ,then click on ok button .

5)Click on "LAN settings" button again , make sure "Automatically Detect Settings" is the only option selected, keep the LAN properties window open.

Then launch Adobe Creative Cloud application and try to load Apps list and check.
