redirect records

I have a webpage built by another company, but want to keep business catalyst email. I have built a huge contact list (not saved like a dummy) and don't want to lose any of them. I was told by the company who built my new website to contact my DNS hosting provider (worldsecuresystems) and have them redirect two records. I am so lost!

Hi there, Business Catalyst are not a domain hosting company.

Having a web page built by another company, if you are using BC and they want to use something else - For me they will be charging you and you will be paying extra for something you do not need.

Just having your emails on BC and not using BC for anything else will be a waist of your money. IF you do not want to use BC any more move your emails, export your contacts and get a cheaper email host - All of which you can do.

OR you tell the company to use BC and but your new site in there.

Domain setup depends on how you set it up, what information you put in the domain settings of BC but primarily associated with the domain setup with your domain registra.
